REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Manager of Transportation & Interpretation in Gardiner and to the Location Manager at Roosevelt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides visitors with an interpretive presentation which may include music and lasts approximately 15 minutes at the waiting area. The content of this presentation must serve as a lead-in to the rest of the interpretation given throughout the evening.
2. Provides visitors with boarding and safety information at the waiting area.
3. Performs western and cowboy music at the cookout site while guests are waiting for dinner and while they are eating. This lasts approximately 1 ¼ to 1 ½ hours.
4. Interacts with guests between songs and promotes audience participation.
5. Recharges sound system daily and keeps equipment clean.
6. Notifies manager immediately if equipment fails to operate properly.
7. Provides own instrument.
8. Attends wrangler training to gain familiarization with the horse operation. |

| Qualifications: |
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Must have excellent musical talent which includes both voice and instrument skills.
2. Must know one and one half hours worth of western songs.
3. Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
4. Must have good public speaking skills.
5. Must have entertainment experience.
6. A good knowledge of Yellowstone Park is helpful. |
