Job Summary: Love your Job. Love your life!

Why work just anywhere when you can live and work in the World's first National Park? Join us in Yellowstone and enjoy the benefits of pristine surroundings, abundant wildlife, great hiking and fishing, and adventurous coworkers from all over the world.

Yellowstone National Park Lodges can get you away from the same old town, the same old people, the same old job, and the same old commute. We make this transition easy for you by providing low-cost housing and meals. We are the major guest services provider in Yellowstone, offering opportunities in lodging, food and beverage, retail, campgrounds, activities, and more at locations throughout the park.

YOUR POSITION:

Receiving a Hospitality Crew position means we have a Kitchen Crew, Laundry Crew or Room Attendant position waiting for you. Most of the people who work here started in entry-level positions, so you are in good company. Your specific position and location will be assigned to you on your arrival day depending on where the need for you is greatest. Remember one thing as you step into your position – our operations couldn’t exist without YOU!

KITCHEN CREW:

As a Kitchen Crew you are an integral part of the kitchen operation. Depending on the type of kitchen you work in, your duties may include washing dishes, serving food, and bussing tables in guest and/or employee dining facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

LAUNDRY CREW:

You will be involved in processing linen for the hotels and restaurants throughout Yellowstone. This entails lifting, repetitive upper body movements, bending, and standing on your feet for long periods of time. Schedules will vary with workload and job duties. This large, high-tech facility also includes employee uniform room and dry cleaning operation.

ROOM ATTENDANT:

As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for preparing guest rooms for occupancy. This means removing used linen and trash, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and stocking rooms with supplies. You will constantly be on the move! Your organizational skill and attention to detail will be put to the test.

TRAINING:

Never worked in a position like this before? Don’t worry – we provide training from A to Z. You’ll share expectations and learn policies, procedures, safety information and more. This training will start soon after you arrive and continue throughout the season.

UNIFORM INFORMATION:

We want you to be comfortable while working in Yellowstone. Please bring your own black closed toed shoes with slip resistant, no marking soles. Because you’ll be doing a lot of bending and crouching your shoes should not restrict your heel movement (try crouching with them before you bring them). Depending on your position, you may also need black socks.

Don’t worry about ruining your own clothes or bringing something special to work in; we will issue you uniforms on your arrival day. This will save precious packing space that you can use for more camping gear! If you are assigned a position as Laundry Crew or Room Attendant, you can wear your own jeans, but they must be blue (not black or khaki), clean have no holes or patches and they must fit your waist and inseam (sorry, no baggies or dragging hems).

It gets cool sometimes here in Yellowstone and if assigned to a Room Attendant position, you might have the opportunity to work outdoors. You may want to bring a solid black, gray, white, or maroon turtleneck sweater or sweatshirt for those cooler days. No logos, though; you can wear those when hiking and on your off time.

Job Season: May to October. Shorter seasons possible for some positions. Winter positions available too.

Job Benefits: Qualification for benefits is based on employment classification and length of service. Additional Information is available upon employment with Yellowstone National Park.

Additional Info: Yellowstone National Park Lodges, operated by Xanterra Parks & Resorts, is the premier guest services provider in Yellowstone. We offer positions in lodging, food and beverage, retail, activities, and support operations.

Our work force provides a unique opportunity to meet and work with people of all ages and backgrounds. Your fellow workers come from every state in the Union and from over 30 different countries from around the world. You are joining a diverse community. It is a great place to meet new people and forge new friendships.
