REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Dining Room Manager, Host Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maximizing corporate profit while simultaneously maximizing guest service.
2. To accept reservations and implement the designated reservation system.
3. To prepare and utilize food checks and seating charts.
4. To direct the seating rotation within the Dining Room to ensure a smooth work flow.
5. To complete table checks when assigned.
6. To ensure a congenial Dining Room atmosphere.
7. To advise guests of all specials or features upon seating them at their tables.
8. To be knowledgeable of all menus and general guest information.
9. To be knowledgeable in special services procedures.
10. Maintains cleanliness of workstation.
11. Complete side duties within each shift.
12. Maintains appearance and uniform standards.
13. Maintains communication and teamwork with all co-workers (FOH/BOH) and supervisors.
14. Handles all guest service issues in an immediate and gracious manner.
15. To assist with other duties when requested.
AUTHORITIES:
To respond immediately and graciously to guest service issues and report the situation to the Dining Room Manager on duty. |

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Occasional lifting and balancing of Dining Room service trays.
2. Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure.
3. Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
4. Ability to absorb information quickly: Menus, reservation systems, Dining Room floor plan, register operation. |
